They are sterile, porous, and non-adherent, and silver ions provide a natural antimicrobial dressing, helping to reduce infections.
The flexible dressings conform to wound sites (burns, blast injuries, abrasions, open fractures, lacerations, Stage I-IV dermal ulcers, surgical, or traumatic wounds) to protect and defend against bacterial threats. This product can be used in an austere or civilian environments.
Through testing, these dressings have been shown to effectively protect against microorganisms such as: Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), Vancomycin Resistant Enterococcus (VRE), Staphylococcus epidermidis, Escherichia Coli (E. coli), Shigella sonnei, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Pseudomonas cepacia, and more (see belwo for list)
